Business Philosophy

To Steve, retirement isn’t just a destination; it’s a transition that deserves the utmost consideration and planning. Beyond his professional acumen, Steve’s personal journey and values have shaped him into a dedicated advocate for planning fulfilling retirements.

Steve’s journey into the world of retirement planning was influenced profoundly by a deeply personal experience that etched a lasting impression on his heart. As he approached his senior year of college, Steve lost his father to cancer, just days before his 21st birthday. His mother’s strength in the face of adversity, shouldering the responsibilities of caring for her family while grappling with grief, left an indelible mark on Steve’s consciousness.

In the wake of his father’s passing, their family financial advisor laid out a comprehensive plan that included life insurance, investments, and 401(k)s. For the first time in years, Steve saw his mother exhale the weight of taking care of his father, realizing she was also taken care of. This act of compassion, a final love letter from his father, inspired Steve’s life’s mission. His mother finding reassurance and stability amidst the chaos ignited a profound realization within Steve – the true impact of compassionate financial planning during life’s most trying moments.

As his career unfolded, Steve’s path crystallized before him. He realized that his calling was not only to be a retirement planner but to be a leader to help guide and inspire others in the field. He committed himself to mastering the intricacies of understanding all aspects of financial planning and investment management as well as client relationship development retirement planning, not just as a profession, but as a way to bring peace of mind to families, so that they could stride into their post-work years with confidence.
