Background & Family Life
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mark’s heart lies within his family. Alongside his wife, Marian, he celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in 2023, a testament to their enduring love and partnership. Together, they raise their two beloved children, Rex and Faye, nurturing their curiosity and instilling in them the values of community involvement and compassionate living.
A firm believer in “blooming where they are planted,” Mark and Marian are dedicated volunteers within their community. An avid supporter of the arts, he is a long-time volunteer for the Oklahoma City Arts Festival, contributing to the cultural enrichment of his hometown. His passion for community development led him to be a proud alumnus of Leadership OKC’s LOYAL Class 1, where he honed his leadership skills and solidified his commitment to serving others.
Mark and his family find joy in exploring their hometown, from neighborhood playgrounds to the Oklahoma City Zoo, Science Museum, and Museum of Art. Free time is spent enjoying outdoors as much as possible and exploring the world near and far. They share a belief that life’s true beauty is best experienced through shared adventures and a deep appreciation for the world around them.
