Background & Family Life

JoAnna Dossman is a lifelong Texan, born and raised in the charming town of Abbott, the same small hometown as the legendary Willie Nelson. She has been married to her husband Kelly since 2003, sharing a loving and enduring partnership. Together, they have two wonderful children, John and Emilie. Outside of the office, you can find JoAnna cheering on John at lacrosse games or supporting Emilie on the volleyball court.

In addition to her active family life, JoAnna is a dedicated volunteer with the Prosper Education Foundation and Prosper ISD, contributing her time and energy to the betterment of her community. She also coaches youth sideline cheerleading, nurturing young talents and fostering a spirit of teamwork and enthusiasm. Joanna is a committed member and volunteer at Our Savior Lutheran in McKinney, Texas.

JoAnna believes in making the complex simple and helping her clients build lifelong legacies. Inspired by her maternal grandfather, who rose from incredible poverty to create a life of giving, JoAnna understands the profound impact of financial planning and legacy building. Her grandfather, despite his modest means, managed to save and invest in small bonds for his six children and 24 grandchildren, leaving not only a financial gift but also a legacy of saving, giving, and providence.
